Legendary Knight
I managed to sit on my bike today, first time in 8 months, it put a smile on my face, onwards and upwards.
Bike's looking well Marty.I was out on my Bonnie tonight and I'm pleased to say that, having sorted the gear linkage all is back to it's most excellent normal performance. When I rattle around on my Bonnie's I have to say that, while the Daytona is a hell of a bike the Bonneville 790's suit me perfectly. The balance of roar, seating position even the way the engine moves it are all just perfect. I never feel the need to get the knee down on the Bonnie because, quite frankly, I can go round bends as fast as I want without having to lean her much at all. I'd have to be going over a ton in the bends, except the hairpins to feel the need to lean much. My corner of Argyll is beautiful and peaceful even on a drizzy Monday night - Forty odd miles without a car in front of or behind me. View attachment 35685
