And now you've seen it, a bit more. Seems the thing he was most annoyed at was it broke his glasses. He had to fork out £300 for new ones....but...

He got £250 back coz he sold the video to you've been framed🤣🤣

Willie's a nice guy, but he knows the value of a pound. Hell not give you a fat penny for a thin one....

My friend has just electric and oil heating. His parents have gas and electric same suppliers, parents on dual fuel.

He pays more for electric than they do, apparently the company feels it's only fair to subsidise the users of their gas supplies by charging the users on electric alone.

He gets no subsidy for the cost of his oil, of course...🤨🤔😶

His words on the subject...

My parents in the SE are with the same suppler but dual fuel. My electricity charge is higher per KWh than theirs and my standing charge is over 50 pence per day.
Phoned the supplier querying why and was told because you don’t have gas it is unfair to sell electricity at the same price as dual fuel customers to you. The burden of wholesale gas prices has to be shared.

Fair? Hogwash! Are petrol buyers subsidising diesel drivers?

It's about tariffs which are about marketing for maximal profit. Fuel prices are interrelated because of the potential to switch and the cost barriers to doing so.

Some also see seasonal variation because e.g. charter flights drop off in winter but the same kerosene ends up in oil fired heating over the winter except for the lot who spend Christmas in Klosters! Chin! Chin! 🥂
