The pubs landlord/owner would have been scared of being "cancelled". When the reality is far more likely to be a huge influx of new customers. All happy to support a stand being taken against this creeping cancer of woke intolerance.

No wonder the Police are increasing viewed as a bunch of tossers or at least worse tossers than they were considered in the past! Investigating a 'Hate Crime' following an anonymous tip-off that the pub had some Gollywogs dolls on display that had been gifted to them over the years. I seem to recall that Robertsons won a court case that found that Gollywogs were not 'racist' and certainly not a feckin' hate crime.

Hard to believe they sent six policemen to deal with those lethal little soft toys in a time when Paedo's and Rapists are getting sentences of community service and even murder is becoming a 'slap on the wrist' offence. They'll probably need counselling for PTSD after it too as it must have been really traumatic for them witnessing such racist imagery.

The gollywogs must have put up a good fight with the need for so many coppers, and there we have it folks what is considered more important for police use and expense crims can go about their daily work without bother from the "WEAK" hand of the law
That story about the Gollywogs says it all about the direction in which our Police "Farce" have gone.
Do 36mph in a 30mph limit, laugh at a bloke dressed as a woman on social media, point out that there's only 2 genders or own a Gollywog. And they'll be on you like a robbers dog.
Commit an actual crime & they'll be too busy to deal with it!
It's no wonder that normal law-abiding folk have no respect for the Police anymore.

There is an interesting comment on the YouTube video from a black ex copper who used to collect the Robinson's tokens for the gollywog badges as a kid, and says he was given a policeman gollywog badge from a child and was chuffed that the child had saved her tokens specifically to get the badge to give to him
