She isn't happy with the dog at all and won't fuss her understandably but hoping time will heal.
Tell her I said that cats are second rate dogs designed for lazy people.
So the extremely clever dog has streamlined your expenditure on pets. Thereby freeing up more cash for shoes, handbags & hairdos 😃

You're welcome 🤗

You may or may not remember two years ago my wife getting the Shepherd pup that she had waited years for, as when we got together she had two shepherds and two collies and two cats and six jobs to fit around the animals, and she has always wanted another and tragically the one she got had a serious problem and had to be put down well the breeder always admitted it was his fault (won't go into details) but we were due another last year, but it didn't happen, but just over a month ago we headed down to Kent and picked up Oki.

He is doing very well and like all Shepherd's he is a clumsy clown and a drama queen, and driving us nuts, but we will cope, Rose has had a couple of injections in here knee and hip and is coping a little better with walking and hopefully will get here hip replaced in the new year and my damn knee is playing me up something rotten so the sight of two decrepit limpy buggers walking a sprightly Shepherd pup must be pretty funny.

He is growing well and has gone from 8.5 to 11.5kg, and you don't notice the growth until you see a video of him from a few weeks ago.

I really hope Oki works out better than the last one TD.
Is he a freebie from the breeder you got the other GSD from?

Brought up from a baby with GSDs first was a pup from a scrapyard she died when I was 11 next 1 was from 2 doctors that were breeders and showed them she was no good for showing so we got her at a goood price turned out her grandfather was a crufts grand champion . She was a great dog not a bad bone in her body didn't even bark at dust men, post man, or milkman she was daft as a bush untill told not to be. just a big hairy daft lump. Since then I've had a black lab, shelty rehomed her after my my youngest born couldn't trust her, working Border Collie who was over 18 when she died, and now my Lurcher who's 11 at xmas. Best dog of all of them and most trust worthy the Lurcher like the second GSD just a big daft lump, not sure why as he was a rescue and had been miss treated by his first owner who we never met untill we got him at about 7 months old. The only time he is not when he sees or hears travelers. you draw your own conclusions from that.

This is also my opinion on the matter.
Unfortunately, my opinion counts for f#ck all. As I'm not a ill informed, limp wristed, leftie ponce. Who's keen to demonise the dogs, not their owners. And the poor quality of their upbringing/lack of appropriate training 😒...
