St. James infirmary is a strong favourite of mine. I like those dark songs like Dead letter bluesI'm currently listening to early Louis Armstrong. Love a bit of real old jazz and man that cat could play a horn!
The only decent album they made.

I saw him in Salisbury market place, a few years back. Great outdoor show. This is brilliant ...
He's an Ozzie not a Jock & he calls himself the Bad-piper. He seems pretty good to me!
Bad moon rising, is a great tune too.
Fire Lake, Night moves, and Against the wind, are among his best stuff.
A mate went to see the band Sweet, and said the same about them. Who would have thought eh.would have loved to have seen Slade in their heyday , numerous have said they were superb live
I cant get that to work either. I have been trying copy & paste.Man of Constant Sorrow is a great tune and I loved that film myself. Can't beat a bit of Bluegrass when the mood takes me. @MICK 56 are you using the wee chain link icon to try and post the link in the post window?

One of my gateway musicians at around 17 was Hendrix. From atonal Jazz to slick soul my ears were softened or led in by Hendrix.
And this has a nice bit of lyricism too
I saw them in an amphitheatre, carved into a field, in Cairns, Queensland. 1992/3. They were good too.
