You do realise naming Hillage puts you in a bit of a specific demographic :D He was a huge artist for me and my mates in the late 70s but I find it's only people in a narrow age range and 'range of cultural references' remember him ;)

Good to hear he's still doing stuff!

My first festival was Reading in 79, then I quickly moved on to the free festival scene - so Gong, Here & Now and Hawkwind were a big bit of my input in that period.

It was interesting how when that morphed into the early rave culture, Steve Hillage saw something in that and morphed with System 7 too.

Last festival I saw him at was 2019 and the crowd were fully 'on it' :)

Like his 'traditional' stuff too - L is a great album

yes you were. These must be one of the most talented bands, that never got the recognition they deserved. And a great live band too.
