War with China/Russia

Russia doesn't understand why the West didn't simply say, 'Look Vlad, pull out of Ukraine there's a good chap, but keep Crimea as it was always yours anyway' when all this kicked off years ago.

China will want to get the Winter Olympics out the way first I expect.

I see there are more signs of impending doom appearing daily.

A US professor who worked with the CIA on identifying countries 'at risk of descending into civil war' is saying that, by the standards they used, the USA itself is now at grave risk of descending into civil war. Meanwhile our defence secretary has gone on record saying we wouldn't interfere militarily if old Vlad invades the Ukraine so basically both the UK and US have said 'Carry on Vlad, we won't like it but we won't try to stop you'. Lithuania are now making noises and will probably be readying for war soon as they believe they will be next after Ukraine. I am willing to bet that, if Vlad does invade Ukraine China will seize the opportunity to make it's move on Taiwan. I hope I am wrong but I get the feeling that I may just be right and WWIII is coming rapidly over the horizon.

I wonder about China, it is struggling to cope with the current collapse of Evergrande and the impact it will have on mainland china's financial apparatus. Certainly an external conflict could redirect attention from it but the Chinese haven't gone weapons hot since 1978 so not battle ready and its recent weapons systems have been impressive, certainly doesn't have the numbers to overmatch the US yet.

Russia on the other hand has been giving its military a workout over the last decade in the middle east and in the Ukraine and as such much more battle hardened and more of a match to any counter from the Ukraine or anyone else locally.

I gather that Roscosmos have been ridiculed and accused of fraud and incompetence in a Russian article making Putin look bad now. Just the kind of thing that a good invasion will distract the Russian public from. Meanwhile Biden has been falling up the stairs of Air Force One again and warnings are emerging that America might descend into chaos in the near future making them far from a credible threat to Russian and Chinese ambitions, Boris is unstable in his position with the press and his own party scenting his blood though God knows what even worse, more useless muppet would fill the seat should he go. The EU of course now seems to be becoming rather unstable with in-fighting and dissent amongst the members and Iran are also sensing opportunities in the current decline of Western opposition. The pot is being stirred.

If I was a Ukrainian and was facing invasion by the Russki's who brought them the Holodomor and other atrocities I would fight invasion to the death. I have read a lot of people online saying things like -

'I don't blame Putin, it's the West pushing on his borders that are to blame'.
'We should keep out of it, not our fight'
'It's Nato's fault'.

My feelings about the people who are saying such things is that they are complete, self centred arseholes and they are the same wankers who wave their EU flags and talk about 'taking a stand' against all the fashionable 'injustices' like Racism, Sexism, Homophobia etc. When it comes to a country being threatened by being enslaved by a new Soviet resurgence they are quite happy to stand by and watch while thousands are potentially massacred. We stood up to the Kaiser in 1914, we stood up to Hitler in 1939 and we must stand up to Putin on 2022. He is the same kind of little rat shit leader that Stalin was and has to be dealt with.

I do think that war is inevitable and due toward the end of February 2022.

If it does kick off, with NATO and/or the US getting involved, then I can see it very quickly developing into WWIII because as I've said before China would have to be daft not to take advantage of a conflict elsewhere involving the US and EU, as perhaps would many other (Middle Eastern, etc) countries that have scores to settle or expansionist desires 😒
