Except it’s basically a gangster state run for the profit of the gangsters licensed by the Capo Di Tutti Capi - Our Vlad.

He’s riding a tiger and will doubtless be working on a retirement strategy for himself but dismounting is hugely risky. He negotiates for personal advantage with a strong sense that his enemy’s enemy is his friend….. today. Tomorrow, who knows? Today China wants Russian jet engine technology and can pay for it and anything that complicates our lives is a win for him.

I don’t doubt he sees himself as being as cultured as any European but there’s that Russian chippiness about being insufficiently respected. Engage by all means but he just isn’t trustworthy and certainly has no time for international rules; for us, just not for him.

The Russians are really taking it up a level aren't they? Reading about their use of an 'anti-satellite missile' on a defunct satellite just a relatively short distance from the International Space Station. Strikes me that it's a direct warning to the USA and the West. I suspect that Biden is hanging onto life by a thread and when the President is indisposed (like Trump was when he caught Covid) the Commies like to come out and play.

Reading the news tonight 'Norwegian military analyst says war between Nato and Russia becoming inevitable' It's coming folks and I for one have to admit that I am sort of looking forward to it. Where do I get a gun and a ticket for the Russian front?

I remember reading some time ago that the Norwegians believed there was going to be a war soon, and that they had been preparing and informing their citizens what to do 😧

The Chinese apparently have a missile technology now that no-one even thought was possible let alone within their capability. A report says that their recent hypersonic missile trials also included a separate vehicle which launched from the missile. The balance of power in the world is possibly no longer with the Yanks.

You might have thought the last 20 months would make you a bit more sceptical about what you read in the media. They wet themselves about anything supposedly ‘hypersonic’ but most of the journalists literally have no idea what they are talking about. I know this because I have spoken to a few down the years. The Times correspondent in Bosnia was profoundly ignorant of a whole heap of basics and wrote some absolute rubbish.

With the Russians camped on the Ukrainian border, China moving military hardware close to Taiwan including nuclear subs, Belarus shipping immigrants into EU all during a Pandemic

Anyone else starting to think that COVID was a tactical preemptive biological attack by The communist axis ???

NATO countries all seem pretty weak right now and ripe for picking:oops:
