I reckon those folk that are "vandalising" the cameras need to be more subtle about it.
Rather than cutting the cables or spraying the camera with expanding foam. Both of which are obvious & will be quickly rectified.
How about a good blob of vaseline on the lens? From a distance it wouldn't be visible but the images would be blurry.

Not that I could condone such actions you understand 😉

With a bit of luck that c#nt Khan will be forced to rethink the expansion of ULEZ. But I won't hold my breath.

Someone in the comments said a paintball gun worked quite well ...quick splat and leg it ...hmmm stealthy

You could argue that making it as expensive as possible to replace/repair the cameras might be the way to force a rethink? 🤔

Due to a seize at some point,I had to resort to a G cramp and 9mm socket to press the gudgeon pin out of the CG125 piston. I stuffed some rag into the throat of the crankcase to catch any crap or circlips etc. Things got a bit violent and the socket disappeared. I pulled the rag out of the way and heard a slight clonk as the 9mm socket dropped past the con rod and flywheel into the gearbox.

The thing that made me happy, was that it only took 2 hours of twisting and turning the crank case to get the socket out again......................

Local council!

Bet that surprised you!

Recycling bin lid been loose since it was returned only attached one side. Last week returned without any lid.

Went online to request new one, site playing up so got incomplete confirmation email. Emailed them and the nice Elaine told me to put bin out and they would sort - did so and they did it next morning!!!!

So impressed was I by this rare example of council efficiency, I emailed Elaine back to thank her and her team :)

I wish I could say such things about my council. Here the recycling bins were due to be collected last week but they weren't collected. Apparently the council had 'vehicle issues' and so they simply said they wouldn't collect the recycling for the whole Cowal area until the next due date, next week. They also tend to break wheelie bins around here on a regular basis.

They could have sent the SNP's Bongo van to collect it. but the police have impounded it......................
