As I've said before, I'm an incurable hoarder.
But I make no apologies for that. The wooden sheet off-cuts used to lash these shelves together have been leant against a wall in my man-cave for over 5yrs. I knew they'd come in handy one day! 😀

It's only empty (ish) cos I'd just finished cutting the shelves.
It'll be full of goodies soon enough HT.
The best £10 I've spent in a long time mate! 🤗
You should get one to store the family banjo & the trophies taken from the victims unfortunate enough to stumble into your village 😳 😉

Not all pensioners are boring old farts:
Once shipped a Panther V through my old place of work along with ‘other stuff’ acquired overseas that went to various testing establishments. The Panzer V was a runner and went to the museum at Bovington. Cramped but surprisingly open internally and really quite agricultural as we’re all tanks of the period. Dunno how they got 5 crew inside unless Diddy Men. Its sloped armour was a big plus copied from the T34.

If you read Sven Hassel supposedly they even got Giant's (Tiny) inside them although, to be fair, in the Sven Hassel they seemed to spend way more time on foot as they seemed to have their tanks blown out from under them almost as soon as they started fighting in them.

They got shredded at Kursk by weight of numbers despite Panzer V high kill ratio to its advantage. Supposedly the delay in the German Citadel offensive was to maximise Panzer V numbers but the Soviets hadn’t been idle either and maybe made better use of the time for defensive preparations.

Which reminds me of a German Tank Colonel I met in 1986 who had fought there. He rated Chieftain over the Leopard precisely because of its heavy armour, saying that’s what you need for Russians!
