A mate turned up at mine today with a car for me,He has always looked after it for an old dear from new,She has given up driving and gifted him the car,Yeh so it's a Nissan 1.5 Almera but it's only done 52000 miles and has new exhaust and good tyres....it would be immaculate apart from the 4 corners which she has caught on her garage doors every time she took it out ...and I don't think it will polish out 😄😄😄..how much did I pay for it you ask.... £0.00 He didn't want it and thought I could get some use from it,MOT till end of August and should fly through another

RESULT! 🤗
Petrol Nissans go on forever with minimal maintenance HT. No rubber cambelt to change, just filters & fluids.
It's why they are so popular with our Asian cousins.

You'll be needing one of these for the rear parcel shelf 😉

If it's the 1.5 Diesel, it's actually a Renault engine & it does have a rubber cambelt.

Nah ..It's the petrol with the cam chain (y)

I've got myself to bed after taking my new anti aggression calming sedation tablet..
I don't know if it's working but I need a piss and don't want to have the medication take effect whilst standing at the kazi...
I mean what if my cock falls off or something as a side effect 🤔 🦆
"side effects " as long as you don't end up like this guy you should be okay :ROFLMAO:

Your mate has done you a real favour there.
The engine should easily have another 100k miles left in it.
Bugger the cosmetics, they don't affect the way it drives.
My mrs has a Nissan juke with a12dig Renault engine it's broke down 5 times. for of them with front cam senser failure, the other all the warnining lights flashed and it stoped ah you might say lack of serviceing but no full service every year the bastard thing has still only done 12500 miles and is 5 years old bought new. The sensers are £70 my sons a mechanic has fitted all bar the first one which was done under warrantee main dealer price to PLUG IT TO THE TESTER AND FIT SENSER £150 I would never touch a NISSAN again with a disinfected barge pole.

I wouldn't touch a Renault with a barge pole. I once had a Renault Megane as a hire car, went around a bend that I was very familiar with at a normal speed and the fucking thing nearly had me in the hedge, worse handling car I've ever driven :poop: ...and I used to own an Austin Allegro! 😜

In my experience Renault's are shite.
What you have there Steve is a Renault with a Nissan badge.
I'll be amazed if @half ton has similar problems with his 1.5 petrol.
