We did t'same, had a walk to a local pub wi a big beer garden, which has a kids playground in it, for mi Grandson. Nice couple o pints int sunshine.
That'll be a 12yr old Scottish single malt

It's normally over £2 but it's often available on a 3 for £5 in some supermarkets.
I saw it in Sainsbury's the other day at £1.50 per bottle

It's already 19yrs old & I have no plans to drink it...
I might rub it in to a sprained ankle. Or use it to unblock a particularly stubborn drain

@Scrappy tried to refuse my offer of a trade for the Scotch. Due to the fact he's never liked any Scotch or Bourbon.
I insisted that he try it before deciding that he didn't like it.
If he'd tried a drop & disliked it. I'd have happily brought it home with me.
However, he did like it & he's now a convert to proper whiskey, from Ireland

I can actually taste it, without it feeling like its bleaching my taste buds like scotch does, and it tastes nice which is something I never expected to be saying
