What's Boiling Your Pi$$ Today?

My beloved is at home today & she's done several loads of washing.
Obviously drying it outdoors isn't possible. So I suggested a tumble dryer. I fully expected that offer to be grabbed with both hands.
But no, apparently £300 ish is a waste of money? 🤔

So I looked at secondhand versions. But f#ckin hell they are disproportionately expensive compared to a brand new one! I guess it's the wrong time of year to be in the market for one?

Instead, the house now looks like a Chinese laundry 🙄
I reckon I'll get a new dryer & tell her it's her Christmas present 😃
How have you managed to get to 2021 without a tumble dryer:unsure:
Mrs DD must be a gem that enjoys washing:)

Tumble dryer was the first thing my Mrs demanded:oops:

Just spent 54mins on the phone trying to change insurance over to the Meteor , Fuck the guy was a pain,He wanted another £74 to adjust it till May on the old policy,I told him I had been quoted £85 for a new 12 month policy with his company...after he had fucked around forever we finally agreed that he would cancel the old policy and refund me £21 and I pissed off back to sort the new one online...that took 5 mins...so £64 fully comp on a new bike stopped my piss from boiling 😁

Saw a photo of protestors in Glasgow for the Crap26 thing and there was a banner with 'DeCO2Lonise' on it being held by a number of people including black and Asian people. Is it only white people that count as 'colonisers' when occupying someone else's native land? Another banner said that 'indigenous' populations are the solution to climate change. Well I am a member of the indigenous population of the British Isles so why isn't anyone listening to my thoughts on climate change?

I suppose I shouldn’t complain at $4.00 a gallon, but it was half that a year ago.
In the late 80's I was in the USA.
Back then Coca Cola was more expensive per litre than petrol! 😳
I distinctly recall a special offer in a gas station for a large bottle of cola. And laughing that it was still more expensive than the fuel they were selling JTC.

I'd love a huge petrol V8 to see out the last few years before ICE's are banned. But they simply don't make sense in the UK. The idea of £7 (approx $10) every 15 miles would stop me enjoying it mate.
Even though I don't do many miles per year.

I did 65 miles yesterday in a vehicle that does approx 45mpg. The idea of getting 1/3rd of that mpg just doesn't appeal.

I know that feeling. In the dim and distant days of the British Army of the Rhine tax free vodka was cheaper than screen wash additive and smelled just as good with a dash of Fairy. Get you! 🤩
