BAD LUCK DUCK

Torbay just housed it's first Afghan family, I'm sure the people who have been on the waiting list for years will be happy for them.
When I was homeless for three years. A combination of sofas occasionally a bed..sometimes a kitchen floor next to the person's family dog and castle gardens and under West bridge and different bushes and parks and back of shops and alley ways and such..
I remember just how much comfort I got from knowing that me being put to the bottom of the housing list whilst foreign fucks that never put anything into this nations kitty were given money hotel rooms houses flats and all the help and more such as food water and washing facilities both hygiene and laundry whilst I was made to feel like a lowlife piece of scum that had no right and how dare I ask for help when foreign folk so obviously had earned the right to everything I had paid into...

Cometh the day people 🦆

I saw that first hand when I worked (volunteered) for a charity that helped the homeless.
The worse possibly scenario to get a roof over your head. Was being a single, indigenous, white man.
That statement isn't racist, it's 100% factual.

Often the guys/girls you see in shop doorways. Filthy, smelly & drunk or high. Simply found themselves homeless after a relationship breakdown. Their alcohol/drug addiction came about as a result of being totally rejected by the system. A system that they'd invariably paid £1000's into in tax over many decades.
Who wouldn't turn to drink or drugs to escape such a reality for a few hours?

For those people, trying to get help really is a series of dead ends 🙁

I and a few others did not turn to drugs or alcohol or other vices or entrapments... we were the few exceptions..
The system hates white English males..Don't matter what you have done or who you were..when you are at your lowest point the system is designed to destroy the hard working decent set of morals white English person man or woman.. seen it and been there 🦆

But something has got to give, how much longer can we see our own people be ignored and ethnics slotted into society and given all the support needed to thrive, I think we are on a time bomb and it's going to blow, add all this shit up in todays society and we have the making for one big shit storm

The last large scale uncontrolled uprisings in this country that changed anything big that I can recall.
Were the poll tax riots.
They involved folk who are now in their 50's/60's i.e. folk like us.
Thatcher was infamous for being pig headed & she was 10 times the man that Boris is. Yet the poll tax system was eventually abolished.
If our generation can achieve that against Thatcher.
Rebellion against Boris should be a walk in the park.

But the same is happening throughout western nations, and so far the governments are just continuing on regardless. This makes me believe that our elected government is just a puppet and someone else is pulling the strings, the way each country seems to be following the same script that defies logic and real science, and main stream media is complicit, suggests it is coordinated.

Problem is the alot of the youngsters have been brainwashed into accepting as the norm what goes on today.
As you said us older generation I believe are the last to make any kind of stand against all this shit that's going on. The poll tax riots achieved the objective, now people walk around waving banners which will achieve nothing.

and yet when they glue themselves to the road 70% of the people on here are lining up to label them cnuts.
Agree or disagree with the thinking, it got our attention in a way a banner never could.

Until some of them finally got locked up for a few months. Then all of a sudden the planet became much less important 😏
It was all beer & skittles until then.
I think you'll find it's far closer to 95% of us that think they are c#nts 😉

The superglue weilding Insulate Britain mob incident actually re-enforces the point made by @gazzatriumph as from what I saw of them most of the ones taking the determined action were the older ones rather than the youngsters. The big issue of course is that most people were behind getting rid of the Poll Tax where most people think the Insulate Britain mob is largely made up of Marxists, the Naive, Gullible, Anarchists and people who generally want to cause trouble and disrupt other people's lives.

Haha!! I was trying to be conservative in my estimate Jez.
One way or another, I spend a fair amount of time with the yoof, and for the most part it’s a positive experience.
I was taught a lesson around the time of the Brexit referendum.
My folks, both inclined to vote leave asked my eldest what she was voting for, and that they would vote the same way. Their reasoning was that by the whole shitstorm settled down to the point of making any discernible difference, they would have been a day or two in the ground, whereas she would be living with their choice for a little longer.

Fair play to them, a very commendable way of looking at the situation 🙂

Now then Mr Fatttbadteeth. Where else do we all know you from Sir?
To call me by my name rather than my user ID in only your 10th post over several months. Would suggest you are more familiar with me/us than you're letting on 😉

Only 3 posts 0n 19/10/20. Then nothing more until today? What's changed mate?

I believe a bunch of geriatric hooray Henry’s and Henriettas glueing themselves to the M25 because they’re too tight to pay for their own water pipe lagging are a bit different to the Poll Tax Rioters:)

I tried to engage my daughters and their husbands in talks over Brexit. Three couldn't see what the fuss was about. One was in favour of remain and all four failed to vote on the day. Wife and I both voted leave. Did I spoil their future? To be honest, I don't know. I am yet to be convinced that anything has changed other than some absurd squabbling with the surrender monkeys over fishing entitlement. We are still obeying what the Brussels mandarins demand regarding Euro emissions, human rights, immigration and suffering from some weird import/export charges and obstructions. Mrs May squandered to many years trying to "get a good deal".I think we are still stuck in the Euroquagmire. Very disappointing.
