I heard Jacob Rees Mog speaking in the house today. Even he, was not condemning the decision. In fact, he was almost apologising for our past., and agreed that the statues should be moved out of sight. I never thought i would hear that from him. I'm not really a fan of JRM, and although I disagree with the jury on this - I'd have found guilty - I was impressed with him defending the jury system.

It is the basis of freedom in our society - the alternative is judgement by some form of govt official, and I'm sure none of us would want that!

Hmmm can't go wrong with a bit of Donner I think then I look at the listing and it's feckin' veggie garbage with 'made from peas' in small text on the pack! If I want Donner meat I want MEAT not peas in disguise! Why are these utter nonce bastards trying to turn us into beasts of the field rather than apex predators?

One thing that natural history teaches us clearly is that vegetarian species are typically on the menu not reading it!

In my experience skin colour is no guide to anything. It’s a climatic adaptation.

Talent and industry are where you find them. I make no excuses for anyone but religion and culture play their part as does social class. India is itself hugely diverse so blanket descriptions cover nationality and not much else. The populations that came here from the Indian subcontinent are equally diverse with far more poor Muslim farmers from the Indus Valley than their more aspirational middle class Hindus and Sikhs from India. It shows. They don’t live next door to one another here either….

It is my understanding that the cheddar man skin colour determination was based on very dodgy if not false science. And while I do not totally refute the evolution of man, modern man's lineage is not totally proven yet. All ancient cultures have stories from pre-history (typically over 12.5 thousand years ago) regarding advanced white skinned teachers, either with white/blonde or red hair.

I do not believe the version of human history as preached by most academics and especially archaeologists, who tend to dream up scenarios to fit their theories and then portray them as fact, and who insist any large site or construction was religious either a temple, place of worship, or crypt, burial site etc. They keep getting proved wrong about the age of human civilisation, take Gobekli Tepe for example which puts advanced human civilisation back to over 9000 years (again more like 12.5 thousand), whereas before the so called experts claimed it was only 5000 years. Then there is the great pyramid which most archaeologists claim was built by Khufu as a tomb using stone hammers and copper chisels (totally laughable), but no human remains or sarcophagus ever been found in any of the Giza pyramids, and the box in the great pyramid is too small to be a sarcophagus and had no lid. There is no written text to say that the Egyptians built the great pyramid, and the only supposed evidence is a graffiti cartouche which has been proved to have been written on plaster which has been dated later than the supposed age of the pyramid.

My point being is that much that we are taught and told is science or historical fact is actually bollox and does not stand scrutiny.
