Nice one @Tallpaul@Badluckduck
I just cut and pasted this from another bike forum, might help?............
MCE customers, let us help. Many of you are waking to news that your motorcycle insurance policy will end this month due to no fault of your own. It also appears that the no claims bonus you’ve earnt during your latest policy year will be erased, so if you had earnt 10 months for example, you’ll lose that and any discount that would have rightfully brought you at renewal. To try and help you, we at Bikesure have agreements in place with some of our insurers that if you’ve been insured with MCE for nine months or more and have been claim free during this time, we will honour that years no claims bonus when we quote you. For anyone that falls outside of the nine months, although we can’t honour one years no claims bonus, we may still be able to look favourably on your circumstances when quoting you as we appreciate the situation you are in. As a result we’ve set up a dedicated phone line to speak to you and offer this service which is 0800 085 9273 so please call us and let us help you. Alternatively you can PM me on here if you have any questions
I've slightly damaged my knee on the other leg and pulled something...so I got two dodgey legs now...Wow sorry to hear that @BAD LUCK DUCK Have you smashed your leg up again??
And is the bike OK apart from the indicator???
Well you’re definitely living up to your name
Prefer to replace with a new piece...Can't see it too clearly but I reckon a good plastic repair specialist could fix that up if you have all the bits. Plastic weld it together from the inside then a wee bit of filler and spray paint on the outside.
Well a temporary repair will keep you mobile while you sort out Ins, MoT etc., and save the shekels. You might find an invisible repair on the base of the indicator stem is quite acceptable. Right now it looks like it’s just come off a rugby pitch not ready for the club bash.I

New Forest Gold, is good sturdy strain of grass mate. Just plant it in an opening in the forest, where it can get sunlight, and let it get on with it. Are you growing Tobacco then ?What is NFG @MICK 56 ? Is it a variety of Tobacco or a variety of Wackum Tabacum? It's the genuine old fashioned bog standard Anericam Tobacco that I am after.
That is a Kawasaki. And they are even worse than Triumph for parts. A new starter motor for my 1500 Nomad, was just shy of £1000 from the dealer. I got a generic one for less than £100, including postage. Each to their own @BAD LUCK DUCK being a skinflint I hate the ridiculous prices for new parts although I've no idea what parts for yer Stacy cost. Certainly for Triumph it's very much 'how feckin' much!!!?????' territory.
I'm not 100% sure this is the correct part but if it is it ain't cheap and it as a crack in it...However it is better than what I have now and gives me an idea of what to expect to pay out...A new indicator if required is £33,75 which ain't so bad..Each to their own @BAD LUCK DUCK being a skinflint I hate the ridiculous prices for new parts although I've no idea what parts for yer Stacy cost.
