What is NFG @MICK 56 ? Is it a variety of Tobacco or a variety of Wackum Tabacum? It's the genuine old fashioned bog standard Anericam Tobacco that I am after.

Just short of the gate to the drive after a really good ride out and front wheel goes out from underneath me in some mud that I couldn't see due to sun in my eyes....

I've slightly damaged my knee on the other leg and pulled something...so I got two dodgey legs now...
It's damaged the fairing which will have to be replaced and I think the indicator itself is possibly OK...

I gotta look into whether the fairing is a full front single piece or if it is a half section...Either way it won't be cheap...
Slightly scratched the tank and exhaust but nothing major..

Can't see it too clearly but I reckon a good plastic repair specialist could fix that up if you have all the bits. Plastic weld it together from the inside then a wee bit of filler and spray paint on the outside.

Well a temporary repair will keep you mobile while you sort out Ins, MoT etc., and save the shekels. You might find an invisible repair on the base of the indicator stem is quite acceptable. Right now it looks like it’s just come off a rugby pitch not ready for the club bash.

New Forest Gold, is good sturdy strain of grass mate. Just plant it in an opening in the forest, where it can get sunlight, and let it get on with it. Are you growing Tobacco then ?

That is a Kawasaki. And they are even worse than Triumph for parts. A new starter motor for my 1500 Nomad, was just shy of £1000 from the dealer. I got a generic one for less than £100, including postage.

I'm not 100% sure this is the correct part but if it is it ain't cheap and it as a crack in it...However it is better than what I have now and gives me an idea of what to expect to pay out...A new indicator if required is £33,75 which ain't so bad..

That ain't cheap at 171 bucks @BAD LUCK DUCK but still not as much as I though it might be. Is that secondhand? Some years ago I needed a teeny wee bit of trim for a Vauxhall Astra Bertone and the piece, about three inches square was just shy of £200 plus VAT unpainted!

Yep @MICK 56 I started growing some Golden Virginia plants last year but it was way too late in the season, had to take them into the shed out of the weather and they grew at a snailspace. From what I've read online if I want to grow some this year (perfectly legal for personal use) I will need to start sprouting seedlings in the next month or so. The seedlings need to be grown on for a couple of months before planting out and it will be about three months before I can start harvesting the leaves so it would be in the latter part of the year before I would have smokeable tobacco. Not at all sure if it's worth the effort.

There would have been a lot more damage without them.
