Sadly @Flynnt20 I think there are enough people who do fall for these things to make it worth their while. I was talking with someone a while back about these sort of scams and how 'seethrough' they are and he said that that is just the point. They don't want to catch people who have the smarts to possibly take them on or at the very least cause them trouble. They want people so gullible or naive that, if they do fall for it, they won't say anything about it and just take the loss rather than hold themselves up for public ridicule because of their stupidity and greed.
