What the fuck happened to Sam Lovegrove?

Why has he been replaced by some twat called 'Fuzz' on 'Shed & Buried'?

Sam was the best thing about that prog - well Sam and the old vehicles anyway.

DS

Sam is busy rebuilding a Brough Superior that was damaged, almost destroyed in a fire, he is having to remake many parts from scratch.

Glad to hear he's OK and having fun!

DS

I was wondering what had happened to Sam. I thought he had maybe fallen out with Henry as there was no mention of him on Henry's shows recently, not even an explanation of why he isn't around.

Henry explains in this...

Christmas and all the cunts out there pretending they can afford/enjoy it. I'm hoping for a new year of less tolerance. I want to see Europe grow some balls and retaliate properly against Russia. I want to see all this equality for gender benders scrapped. I want to see all strikers starved back to work. The collapse of the Post Office which will easily be covered by couriers. I want to see rubber boats pitchforked in the channel. I want to see Fishy Rishi and Jeremy Cunt taken out by snipers.

I have always hated contractors and still do, they never do a proper job first time and can't be relied upon [some folks opinions may differ]
they patch jobs up and within a month the issues always appear at the end of the repair, not just mil but those who rely on council jobs

Its disgusting, they should be treated as a priority and with preference... but no that is reserved for fucking illegal immigrants!!🤬

It's not only the contractors fault they are allowed to get away with it by the clerk of the works. All goverment contracts are let with the standard of work that is required so all contractors should price accordingly. It is for the clerk of the works to enforce those standards I have thrown/removed contractors from site for poor workmanship, but then some clerk of the works don't have the bottle to face them down.

What makes you think there's a Clerk of Works? These days (think Grenfell) it's all self certification and the regs are made meaningless by lack of enforcement. The nominal Contract Supervisor is often the first to be bought off.

In the MoD the maintenance contracts are a dodger's delight. I worked inside the system. Shortly before retiring I agreed with the RAF 1* then running the system that it should all be scrapped. It would be better and cheaper to pay everyone a £400 a month housing allowance and have no married Service accommodation in the UK and do away with all the useless bureaucracy and skiving. I couldn't even get a hammering water pump fixed in the week before Christmas one year so replaced it myself and had to fight for reimbursement..... and I wasn't a LCpl.

You can't overcome the unimaginative jobsworths in the Civil Service or the 'sponsorship' of key MPs of all Parties. The dire quartering situation is as old as the modern forces..... pre Victorian. Navy quarters in Pompey and on the Clyde periodically condemned. No careers to be made in it and the hierarchy have mostly got out.

Erm @Sarky B’stard do you mean you were LCol or, as you wrote, LCpl?

I don't know what it's like now but when I was a sprog Married quarters were a feckin' nightmare. I remember my father getting hauled over the coals by his commanding officer because said officers wife took umbrage with the choice of wallpaper my mother had put up in the living room. After that my folks chose to live in rented accomodation until my dad left the RAF.
