Exactly, a measure to cool the planet (stupidity itself) that can't be very quickly undone is potential disaster, what happens if there is a big volcanic eruption?
Perhaps Gates wants to increase the value of his farm land, recently the planet has greened and more land is productive, agricultural land is more productive. So if the earth is cooled, then some land becomes less productive, which could potentially increase the value of Mr Gates farm land

Bill Gates has the developmental disorder Aspergers, just like my stepson and I must admit that my stepson has given me a lot of insight into it. Quite frankly Gates lives in a world where everything is Black and white and right and wrong with no grey areas. Gates can't understand things like the fact that people have to die, it's the way of the world so he has sworn to eradicate Malaria with no thought to the fact that, if he was successful, there would be an extra million plus mouths to feed every year and the world really needs less people not more. He has a childish view and a lack of empathy which means he is incapable of seeing anyone else's point of view. He may well truly believe that he is doing good and, with the condition, he can't understand why others don't recognise his superior expertise.

Just to say its not born of jealousy but i have always had a very , very deep seated miss trust of the likes of Gates , Trump , Branson etc as i feel you would have to be such callous , heartless arse hole to amass such a fortune , they strike me as the sort of people who would sell their own kids if there was a profit in it and i bet some of their business dealings would have them jailed if they ever came to light
