I feel the same sometimes but unfortunately there wouldn’t be many people left if I had a gun
Utter tangent, I was a noob on TTF before diving in with both feet, gobbing off whenever I could and then coming here so...

WTAF is your avatar pic about? there's a story behind that metalwork surely? Only just registered it!

Indian call centres have pissed on my parade today...Why have someone who can't speak English answer the phone to English people...
I asked if they had anyone with a better grasp of the English language and she replied we have peoples in bases in England..I now suspect Indian spys have infiltrated are submarine bases army naval airforce bases and any other bases you can think off...
Anyway I hung up and have been advised doing stuff online may be a better way to go for someone of my disposition 😳
It's frustrating but it's just some poor cunt trying to do a shit job whatever their nationality. They've a script to stick to and no real power to sort your problem. Cynical cannon fodder so I never lose my rag with the person. It's the institution (bank, telecom company, whatever) that I'm angry at.

The ones I always find funny are the ones who claim to be called Willie, Jimmy etc. calling from Glasgow but have an accent and command of English clearly from somewhere in the Phillipines or Bombay.
The one I spoke to the other day was called.............

Wait for it..........

You won't believe it.........

"D'Arcy".

Told him to Fech off cos I wanted to speak to Gupta.

Over the years I've found that thinking "Jumped up prick!"
But saying "Yes officer, no officer, whatever you say officer"
Works far better, & rarely results in a ticket.
Some (not all) were bullied at school, are henpecked at home & are generally socially awkward.
Being a Cop gives them the power & control, they'd never otherwise have the balls to carry off!

Humour them & play by their rules for 10 minutes. Then drive/ride away with a smug smile on your face 😉

wasn't rude, just annoyed that he wasted my time looking for an issue that didn't exist. When I was pulled during the first lock down, it was 12:30am. I showed the officer my ID and he let me go.... 30 seconds and it was over.

I think this has got massively worse in recent years, a lot of them seem to be like the gestapo now. A politicised police force, possibly due to introducing the election of police commissioners, and also the common purpose (marxist) training (brainwashing) infecting most of our public services 🤔

I agree, most use to be reasonable, but these days the arrogance is annoying (tends to be the young ones too). When the come in for treatment, they expect for all others patients to be brushed aside so their split lip can be glued.

Or was 'it was suspicious to see a motorcycle like yours on the road at 7am on a sunday morning' just plod having a dislike of cruiser style bikes, and his way of telling you to get another bike? 😜

or maybe he isn't able to think, breath and ride all at once, so is jealous of all bikers.......

Got taken out on my bike by a young lad a few years ago and smashed my arm to bits, and my other hand, and my leg
Was in a wheelchair for a couple of months and had both arms in casts. Not a great time. :(
Worst bit was, my 3 week old Panigale was written off

Tried booking a short break in a touring park at Bunn Leisure near Chichester, they won't allow me to book because the towing vehicle is a van, blanket ban on commercial vehicles.
I can't even tow a caravan on site with the van then park outside it outside which I offered to do, really boiled my piss that I offered a compromise which clearly shows I have no intention of trading or sleeping in the fucking van!

I have been there many times in the past with the camper, just pisses me off that there is absolutely no compromise from their side!

Dear William,

Thank you for your email regarding bringing a van onto the Touring Park. Our commercial vehicle policy has been in place since 2014 and does not permit guests to bring a commercial vehicle/van on to the site. We do not permit commercial vehicles because our primary focus is a leisure park and we cannot have people trading from park, although some guests tell us their van isn't being used for this purpose we cannot police it easily and therefore a blanket rule applies.

Also in particular on the Touring Park guests have in past years used solid panelled vans as an additional sleeping unit which goes against the fire regulations on park. We are unable to allow a guest to tow on their caravan using a solid panelled van and then leave again because if one customer does it then it would cause upset for other guests who have followed our policy and found alternative means of transport rather than bringing their van.

If you have no other vehicle to use and have already made a booking with ourselves I can request that our head office cancel and refund your stay in full. I have copied our bookings team into my reply to you so that they are aware I have agreed this.

Many thanks and apologies for any inconvenience caused,
Julie Ham

I am willing to bet the policy has nothing to do with trading from the park or 'additional sleeping quarters'. It's to stop 'Travellers' coming onto the site and setting up home.

Well actually I suppose it does have something to do with trading from the park as they would then be setting up their Scrap Metal and Drive Tarmacing businesses from the site not to mention their role in the Steal trade.

I suspect you may be correct, but to be honest if their policy is to stop commercial vehicles going on site to stop the traveling community then it doesn't work, going on the last time I was there in the camper there were a lot of travelers, to be fair they were no bother & had a good laugh with some of them.

Camber Sands down in East Sussex was recently in the news for discriminating against the traveler community as certain surnames were apparently 'blacklisted' they got in quite a lot of bother over it as I remember.
