Flies. More specifically Mayflies..... the most enormous hatch along the Tweed late p.m. today and I got splattered head to toe in gossamer (there’s a name from the past!) winged goo and my visor nearly translucent rather than transparent..... should have gone fishing instead of fitting enormous French windows.

Consequently, I have three choices. Give up smoking after 37yrs. Pay £25 a pouch for 50g of baccy in the shops. Or try vapes again
I get through approx 1.5 packs a week. At roughly £9pw the cost was never an issue. However, at £37.50pw it'll start to feel like an expensive hobby

I'd say the biggest mistake that people make, or problem they have with a transition, is going low nic. And some high powered uber 'cloud' kit.
I accept my addiction and service it economically.
I'll PM you links to a setup for less that £20 that'll mimic a 'fag' enough for you to persist.
Def go High (18mg) fluid though. It never mimics that first fag in the morning 'nic hit' but it's close enough to soldier on.
I used to be able to jump on the tunnel for 15 quid in the evening, as long as I got back before midnight. Plenty of time to get to Adinkereke for a months worth of OH

Just to add to Chas’s sage advice, I found a menthol flavouring in vape juice gave me the throat hit I needed to mimic smoking a rolly enough to make the switch, and saving about £150 a month !!

Baccy that can be purchased in Belgium at less than 25% of the UK price. Wouldn't be £25 here!
Even if it was £15 I wouldn't have bothered with running the gauntlet of going from N'pton to Belgium.
What used to really pi$$ me off was. Although the law stated we could bring back what we liked if it was for personal use.
Customs at Dover used to act like the Gestapo.
I got pulled in once & they threatened to take my vehicle & everything in it. I was forced to roll a ciggie & smoke it in front of them.
They still continued with the intimidation & bully boy tactics.
Right up until I emptied a small bag containing 100's of the tear-off paper security seals from Belgian baccy pouches onto the desk of the interrogation room.
And added..."Ok guys, if that baccy isn't for my personal use. And I'm a smuggler? Explain how I have all these paper seals ya pricks!"...
I was then allowed on my way. After I'd made them carry all the bags back to my car & arrange them neatly in the boot. I even sparked up another ciggie in their office (interrogation room) & was told I was in a "No smoking area"
Which was met with..."F#CK OFF! It wasn't 20 minutes ago!"...
