Chirst of course he was and everybody knew it, it was bleedin obvious just like it was with Freddie Mercury, John Inman and Rob Halford but no-one cared. That was the way it was back then now if you are of that persuasion you aren't allowed to keep it simply your own business but have to shout it from the rooftops and make everybody bend the knee as if it makes you somehow special.
