Old Nick

Legendary Knight
Just watched Blade Runner (again) a film I never get tired of, I think Ridley Scott got it about right, it still seems futuristic, even 2 years now after the film was set, and the dark menacing mood of the cinematography, plus the dystopian city scape is perfect for a large screen in a darkened room

And the bio engineering background of the story is even more relevant and worrying for current times

One of the few 39 year old films that don’t look dated and are still relevant today

"The Seige Of Jadotville" (on Netflix)

The best film I've seen in ages!
Without giving too much away & spoiling it. Think Zulu, but set in the Congo in the 1960's.
If it was fictional it would still be a great film. But the fact that it's a true story makes it an awesome film 🙂

That movie is outstanding.
The German term Kannonenfutter (cannon fodder) comes to mind.

Gripping up to the end and good acting too. Thanks for the tip, Jez.

Not a film but a great 4 part series on BBC1 called..."You don't know me"...

It's halfway through the final episode & I predict one final plot twist.
His girlfriend didn't shoot/kill the guy. His little sister shot him.
The time is now 21:36hrs
