Watched the first 2 John Wick movies, watching parabellum tonight.

Though just how somebody can take such a beating and still carry on is beyond me. Good fillums though. Not short of a bit of action.
Got about 5 minutes into Parrabellum and turned it off. No story whatsoever just constant violence, most of which was laughably choreographed.
A shame cos I enjoyed the first one, the second maybe not quite so much.
It’s true about sequels being not as good as the original, and the third ones…….

Watched parabellum all the way through. Unbelievable gorefest. About all you can say..... It did leave it open for a fourth, which will no doubt be more of the same

Doc Strange

Legendary Knight
Akira - 1988 'definitive anime classic'

15 cert due to some gore, 'futuristic' tale set in 2019!

Hints of lots of significant sci-fi - Blade Runner, 2001, Neuromancer, etc.

Not always coherent, but that might just have been me ;)

If this interests you, I would recommend.

I watched "love and monsters" on Netflix last night. Odd one, but the fact I watched it all the way through says something.

Humans nuke an asteroid heading our way, the fallout makes insect life mutate into giant man killers. Boy want to get to his girlfriend who's 85 miles away.. Adventures ensue.

That's about it.

Not a film, but a documentary series on Amazon called "The Gymkhana files"

It's the making of the various Ken Block Gymkhana videos.
A real petrolhead heaven 😃

I've had plenty of laughs. Especially when seeing footage that originally made me think "That was ridiculously close to leaving the road & tumbling down a mountain" when I originally watched the videos on YouTube.

To then hear Ken Block say "That wasn't supposed to happen. I got way too close to rolling the car down the mountain"
Proves that he is human, & he does get scared after all 🙂

Edit...
Here's a couple of stills as examples.

1000's of feet up on Pikes Peak.

Possibly not deadly if it went wrong. But it'd still f#ck the car.
