Good, but it was much harder to follow than the original. You can't miss 5 mins whilst you pour a drink & have a pee. And expect to not miss something crucial to the plot.

Highlander was on straight afterwards, so I watched that as well.
The first time I watched that I thought it was brilliant.
But it definitely hasn't stood the test of time well.
Especially the fight scene in the Scottish castle. The way the scenery was collapsing as it was struck by sword swipes was laughable. The huge stone blocks were obviously really cardboard/foam boxes painted grey. I've seen better fake scenery in Crossroads & Blakes 7. Both of which were infamous for their wobbly scenery 🤣

BTW...
I've been to that castle on a tour of Jockistan in around 1989/1990. It's in an extremely picturesque location 😃

Picture skew indeed but a bit repro. Between 1719 and 1919 it was a pile of rubble and what you see was completed in 1932. There were Spanish Marines in residence after the 1715 Jacobite Rebellion…. 🤔 The Battle of Glen Shiel finally tidied things up…..

Then take the ferry to Skye....
I went there on my way to Skye Sandy.

During our tour from the old Scottish guy in a kilt.
He asked an American couple if they had any more questions? He was being massively sarcastic cos they'd asked a dozen or more incredibly stupid questions.
When the husband replied with..."No, you've been great & myself & my Wife are absolutely loving our time on England""..
I thought I might have to step in to save at least one life! His Wife might have been spared. But I was convinced the Yank husband was a dead man walking! 😳 😉

We watched Valhalla Rising last neet. An hour and a half we'll never get back. Real cure for insomnia.

Well the last film I watched, because the wife wanted to, was the re-make, or should I say murder of, Blithe Spirit. What an utter pile of shite they turned it into.

BAD LUCK DUCK

A bit of a dick head naughty man spends 14 years imprisoned in a flat without knowing why...suddenly he is released and he goes looking for answers...
It's as close as I get to a romantic movie...
I think you lot would possibly appreciate the remake..I think it stars josh Brolin...
It's a version I have yet to purchase..🦆

Now that sounds like something we'd watch - and if an 'original' version exists, that's usually what Ms S and I prefer.

Will check it out :)
