Don the Don
Legendary Knight
Watched "Pulp Fiction" again
Bit gay though ain't itRocketman
Enjoyed it and I never watch musicals but reviews said even if you hate them, you'd like this.
Always liked some of his work, although there is plenty of dross too.
Found it entertaining and also good at giving a sense of the man and his talents, issues, etc.

I reckon Duck was knocking one out to Sir Elton.
Sounds like the sort of thing us ducks like to watch..."Nobody" on Sky Movies. 90 minutes of shooting, bombing, car chasing. Plus a superb cameo from Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown from Back to the Future).
I've not seen the remake and didn't know they had remade itLast film I watched was the 2019 offering of Midway. I have to say that I rather enjoyed it. Although the computer generated scenes weren't 100% convincing and looked a bit artificial they did work and it was a gripping film. The bombing dive scenes had me tense in my chair and feeling as if I was in the bleedin' cockpit. I would never have guessed that the 'starring' pilot was actually a British fellow. Came across as convincingly Yank. I still love the original version but the re-make does have more gripping battle scenes and they haven't gone messing it up with romance or sex.
I saw that film as well and must say that I agree with you @MartytheMartian I also thought it endorsed how brave those Naval Aviators are even today I have a lot of respect for our Fleet Air Arm as well and I have served along side the US Navy , In all a good film.Last film I watched was the 2019 offering of Midway.
