I am a big fan of Aldi/Lidl gins. Both their 'pretend Hendriks' are pretty good. The Aldi one is a good strong gin but the Lidl one is pretty much same/same to Hendriks

I have to say that what makes me happy every night is going out to my bike shed before I turn in and sitting on one of my Bonnie's with the shed doors open and enjoying a pipe full of good tobacco in the all but complete silence of my wee Scottish village when it's asleep. It's the closest I have ever gotten to feeling completely at peace.

The old Lidl gin was simply awful,I hope it’s better,the Aldi is multi award winning and tastes like real gin should,if you haven’t,then maybe you should try it.

This will undoubtedly be deemed to be a "gay" post. By a certain feathered forum member 
But I'll post it anyway
Duck & the future Mrs Duck visited chateau DD today for a tune up on the Jaaaaaaag. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances. The tune up didn't happen.
However, the future Mrs Duck is insured to drive the Jaaaaaaag & she wasn't bothered about not being able to have an alcoholic drink.
Therefore that left the door wide open for a blind whiskey tasting session for Duck
Once his favourite from 5 choices was established & supped. We demolished a bottle of his second favourite
A truly awesome afternoon in fantastic company!
There was also chocolate cake. But I'm not supposed to mention that. Cos although it was delicious. Apparently, this elaborate type of chocolate cake is "gay"? ☹

But zero reference to "gin alley"
