All you smokers need to be hung by your balls from the nearest tree/lamppost.
I'm gonna complain to Extinction Rebellion about your pollution of our beautiful planet!

BTW...
I'm 10 weeks into quitting smoking. But don't worry, I won't let myself become one of those ex smoker nazi's 😉

None so pure as the purified. ;)

I manage my nicotine addiction differently these days but I still think smoking is both Big and Clever :D

Today was my first time in the same house as 2 roll up smokers since I quit.
I can honestly say I wasn't tempted but the atmosphere of secondhand smoke was nice 🙂

I genuinely will never be one of those sanctimonious pricks that waves their arms about & fakes a cough. I've wanted to punch so many of those Cockwombles over the years! 😏

That is a biiiiiiggggg Stogie. I could never get used to cigars that 'chunky'. I used to know a fellow (underworld type character) who smoked those big giant Romeo Y Julieta Churchills. Just looked them up and they are £745 for 25 now! Myself I always preferred a nice little Panter cigar.
I used to be able to buy a decent box of No5 size cigars (cuban, brand varied) for less than fifty quid in Andorra.

I'm cursing that bloody German @Capt. Drunkey now as I'm getting a cigar 'Jones'

What are you burning there?
I've given up cigars but a Montechristo 5 was my go to.
Yearly (or more) trips to Andorra for the specific purpose of cigar buying.

Enjoy your smoke.
I usually smoke Macanudo Diplomat Maduro… But they seem to be hard to come by these days.
So my cigar-shop recommended Santa Damiana Vintage Maduro to me.
A pretty good substitute for the time being 😊

The name suggests mucho euros.
Don't divulge the price to Chaz. He suffers from SWS (Superglue Wallet Syndrome) If you tell him the price, he'll have a relapse.
One of the suffers of SWS are allegedly responsible for the creation of the Grand Canyon.
Apparently they dropped a penny down a rabbit hole? 😉

I have to stick with smoking a pipe these days because of financial constraints although, if I ever manage to get a crop from my tobacco plants I might try making myself a cigar or two. I agree with you about the 'ritual' @chas Pipe smoking is a ritual too with packing the pipe and then carefully regulating the speed and strength of your 'draw'. It's a great way to spend a half hour just thinking and puffing slowly.

Yet *I* don't buy my boots from screwfix. :D

Looks like I dropped the penny but you went to fetch it ;)

You don't find quality footwear like that every day mate 🤗
In a thread long ago there were my boots in corner of shot which Sarky accurately described as proletarian air fresheners.

But they happened to be a pair of Timberlands that I've had for eight? Ten? years. Knock Cats into a cocked hat build wise.

If those Sites are good boots, fair play.

But I did only pay a tenner for my Timberlands :D

Timberlands that old are probably Salvadorean. The newer stuff is overwhelmingly cheap Chinese production…..the better stuff being Vietnamese!

Slightly tangentially, it seems to be a skill that is being lost being able to judge an item for sale on it's quality rather than it's label or price.

My summer gloves are a no name brand that cost me around a tenner but the stitching tells the tale. They're as good as (and likely made by the same factory) as named gloves.

The Prodigal lived in Vietnam for ten years, it's a very interesting place. I hugely enjoyed my visits.
