What’s made you happy for a change

BAD LUCK DUCK

Forum Duck
A thoroughly miserable oulook, but realistic...............
I had three choices in life @Tallpaul Army crime or honest life...
The army turned me down for three years due to a twat boyfriend of my sister...

Crime...Mixed bag of fruits which never sat right with me..

Honest life....My advice to anyone with a good set of morals...I've personally found honesty the truth and standing up for what is right...
Don't do it..
What you give up and the sacrifice for ungrateful fucks that betray you at the drop of a hat ain't worth it...
I've saved and avenged some but for what in the end..

It leaves you tired and really just tired in the end..

You lose faith in people but see glimmers of such in a rare few...

I just want to either be left alone to find a little happiness just for once or just end it now...

That's my outlook on life...
I'm no one and don't want to be either...

God help the man that crosses the man that just wants to be left alone 👍🦆

For sure, some of us seem to tread a more difficult path than others. I've been through some really dark times and considered ending it all in a big way to make a statement. But I've managed to find an alternative and scrabbled away to get my head out of those dark places. The honest life seems to be the fool's choice at times, but I know that I don't have to keep looking over my shoulder to see who is chasing me down. It is tiring and grinds us down, but with a clear conscience it's the best way.

Don't worry too much about other people, just find your tribe and party hard with 'em!

Others, best learn to tolerate 'cos they ain't going to go away.

My problem is that I've never truly found my 'tribe' if I am even 'tribal' rather than being a single solitary Martian on Earth. Even when it comes to my own bleedin' family I feel like an alien most of the time. Sure I can 'rub along' with people but I don't think I've ever met anyone who is slap bang on my wavelength.

I know what you mean - I'm not really a 'joiner-inner' so sort of drift along with one foot in a few camps, but on the whole bikers come closest.

Chatting with a biking chum the other day about group riding, I said one of my early bike memories was a poster of a bike parked in the desert with the sun setting behind it and for me that 'lone rider' had always been the image that had attracted me - Clint riding into town on two wheels rather than an 'orse.
