Nope I am most certainly not that way inclined. To be honest, while I try to be fair to all people I find the very idea, male or female to be repulsive. I will probably get sent to a 're-education' camp by the Gestapo at some point for it and no-one ever trained or indoctrinated me into my feelings on the subject. I have simply always felt it was plain wrong. If others want to do it I won't say anything about it or treat them any differently because of it (My autistic Stepson has a boyfriend) but, like being a practicing Satanist or wanting to dress up in rubber, I don't agree with it personally. Of course I am not allowed to hold such beliefs nowadays and I think the Gestapo are at the door so it's been nice knowing y'all. :oops:

Let's face it, none of us really matter to the world at large. It will go even if we don't from the top to the bottom. I mean who really cares if some men want to have their genitals cut off or dress as women and yet a fortune in time and money has been expended pandering to their whims and trying to make them feel 'normal' but, as the advert says "What is normal?" and who really cares.

Basically what I am trying to say is that I don't see some grand plan of control but rather a whole shower of different varieties of little shits all fighting over their share of control and press coverage and the ordinary guy in the street being ignored because he's too boring to bother with.

And I see no unseen conspiratorial hand (except the Adam Smith invisible kind https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invisible_hand) either. What I do see, like you, is a void of leadership and vision, and too ready an acceptance that ‘nothing can be done’. It’s about political and moral courage and drawing a few lines in the sand then standing behind them. I just think there is collective drift.... much like preceded 1979......

Ironically, that creates the very conditions in which bad actors seize their opportunities.

It’s hard to justify maintaining foreign aid at previous levels at the moment, and bear in mind they aren’t stopping it totally just cutting from 0.7% to 0.5% of GDP which means we are still providing £10billion in aid

From the first line of the BBC link, there are families without food and girls missing school in the UK because of the effects of the last 15 months!

Social media is not promoting this invasion. Priti Patel is responsible for failing to stop it. The border forces are almost harvesting these men out of the Channel. They should all be turned around and pushed back to France. Stop the invasion and the criminal people traffickers will lose their business.

The Government post Brexit simply needs to change the legal framework but their inaction makes me wonder if there is a secret agreement to ‘take our share’ as part of Europe’s collective surrender to an alien invasion that will undermine all of our societies. It’s mostly political cowardice hidden behind occasional grandstanding.

You can’t ask for money for a specific declared purpose ((e.g. IndyRef2) then spend as you choose on something else ((e.g. Mr Murrell’s salary). That would be a dishonest misappropriation amounting to theft. All Sturgeon’s cr*p about cash flow accounts is tantamount to an admission it’s ‘munnae in, munnae oot’ and no discrete, ringfenced columns within a single account. They are in trouble and wriggling because there is apparently no fund at the bank that anywhere near matches their subscribers deposits.

Why do you suppose they would run the country any differently?

So, T4, full set of shocks, one gone on the front, one gone on the rear. So I need a set if four. I know the pothole that did it, just outside Reay. Broken helper springs on the back too... So new shocks all round, set of heavy duty springs on the rear. £350. "Hello council, your road potholes gave broken my...." "Here, have a set of hoops to jump through, jump through them in triplicate, and then go away."

The Landy... Cleaning and painting the wheels. Guess what? Two shocks leaking, one front one rear. On order... Delay on delivery... Still mot not due til September. An hours work (not like the T4, that was fun) but again, over £100 on parts. Still, I sold some stuff too, cut the cost a bit.

Good job I can do these jobs off a stool, innit? The joy of working outside! Getting off the stool is fun, mind.

What this guy has omitted is that the UK government has paid the French millions supposedly to stop these boats, so why the fuck aren't the French doing so when they clearly know of them and still in French waters? 🤬😡
