Imagine the huge outcry if the same was suggested about black owned businesses 😳
When all said & done the likes of BLM don't want equality. They want the upper hand.
Unfortunately for them, that mindset creates racists. And does absolutely nothing to further their cause 😏

I'd bet there are as many black folk wishing BLM would shut the f#ck up. As there are white folk thinking exactly the same thing!

I absolutely agree. The one's really stirring the shit are the white middle class assholes who have read a bit of Karl Marx and believe that 'he da man!' and, despite the fact that Karl Marx was an out and out racist who hated black people, they have persuaded a minority of Black people with a huge chip on their shoulder because they, personally haven't got on well with their lives, to jump on their twisted bandwagon and are now gleefully screwing up the world for both black and white communities and probably setting back the clock a hundred plus years in the process.

But the "allegedly" intelligent youngsters in our universities think differently 🙄

Personally I think it would and they were just waiting for one incident to start this crap.
Nothing happened when Tony Timpa was killed in the same way, so they aren't concerned about white lives just black which makes them racist.

Aye that advert has been around for a while now. Not to be seen while eating yer dinner that's for sure and they are feckin' kidding themselves if they genuinely believe they are 'perfect'. Part of the problem with the world is that we have lost our honesty in the pursuit of the myth of equality. Some people are just freaky or fugly, that's nature and to claim otherwise is to be a liar.

I still smile inwardly at those who went the Cassius Clay ➡️ Muhammad Ali route as though the World’s greatest enslavers haven’t always been (& continue to be) the Arabs. I detect as much anti white feeling as actual religious conviction. It’s kind of ‘I don’t want to be an underdog, so I’m siding with the underdogs who themselves have a pretty deep seated dislike of dogs.’ You can’t argue with that kind of logic.

I do always wonder about who exactly BLM encompass. Is it only those lives containing African DNA or does it include people from the Indian Subcontinent, East Asian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Aborigine, Maori, Micronesian, Polynesian etc.? Over the years I have known a few folks from India, Pakistan, the Middle East and Far East and, to be honest, British so-called racism ain't got nothing on them. I remember a program on the TV many years ago where that fellow Darkus Howe was trying to show how every white man was terrible and all ethnic minorities were brothers and, when he met a group of young Pakistani men they straight out told him that they wanted to take over Britain and, when they did, there would be no room for Africans. I think that program was more of an eye-opener for old Darkus than it was for anyone else.

I vaguely remember the trumpet being soaked in the bath over night before being cleaned, it was straightened, the dents removed and polished. The trumpet turned out fantastic, looked and sounded brilliant, and I was often complimented on it from older musicians who had many years experience. I can't remember what make/model it was, just that on the horn it had a small applied star logo that was filled with green enamel 🤔

The trumpet you described didn't ring any bells with me @Scrappy but I just came across this for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Would this happen to be the model? Rudall and Carte were a well respected name in musical instruments although I wasn't aware that they made trumpets.

The Muslim Council of GB has a political agenda quite as much as a religious one. They are not the ‘moderates’ they pretend but pretty fundamentalist and opposed to other religious tolerance and Western democratic values. They practice knowing deception to further their aims….. nor are they particularly representative of the Muslim community.
