I know that I could do that @DD67 but, as the bike could do with a re-finish altogether because of the bubbled tank and various scratches and scrapes it has sustained over it's life and so it occurred to me that black and yellow striped vinyl would be much easier than doing yellow and then trying to get black stripes even and evenly distributed. I am really giving this some serious thought as it appeals to my sense of humour and the look of the headlight arrangement has a comical bugish look to that would fit right in even though I actually bleedin' hate real wasps.

I wouldn't say no to one of my family Tartan's (Anderson which is just about the best and smartest looking tartan even made) but I am now rather ashamed to be seen with a Saltire since the Snazi's shat all over it and anything Snazi can fuck off.

When it comes to 'bug' looks @DD67 I think the Triumph Sprint RS and Tiger 955i take the prize

Just look at that face! It's like a grasshopper and the Sprint RS, with the teardrop lights looks even more buggy.

That greenTiger looks like it has enormous false eyelashes. Is it the Drag Queen edition? 🧐 😉

I'm going to Sportsbikeshop in Birmingham later, want to try on a new jacket for our Norway trip. As it's pissing down and not showing signs of easing, I suggested to Rose that we go to a live gig at 15.00. Plotted my route and noticed that the second leg took us through the town centre. I remembered my son in law saying that he could drive his petrol 07 Picasso in the town centre, but only by a few months due to emissions. So I went on the website to see if my 59 plate Picasso 3 diesel was also free. Robbing cunts want £8 for a single pass of a 2 mile stretch of the A38. So a detour it is then. I'm going round the M42 in case of diversions in town.
I'm happy to report that the jacket has arrived at my abode and following a quick ride this morning, it both fits and is comfortable. First textile suit I've bought that looks like it was made to measure. See what Norwegian weather can do to spoil it for me!

I think those early Tigers are bastard fugly but I've been tempted to grab one as a project as they're bloody (comparatively) cheap to pick up.
I paid a deposit on a nearly new one at my local (now gone) Honda dealer.
On the day I was due to pick it up. I was walking to the dealership. When I saw my bike being wheelied off the lights 200m away. Then slammed down outside the dealership.
I got my deposit back & the tech got a proper roasting from Neil Young the owner (not the musician)

Ach I don't think they are fugly at all @chas I rather like their 'unusual' styling and I can't say I've seen them terribly cheap even though I don't think I have ever seen one with less that twenty five thousand on the clocks and are generally around two grand plus. They seem to be outnumbered at least five to one by the other models of 955i.

Just looked on fleabay and there is a tiger on there 'decent but used condition' with sixty two thousand on the clocks and it's looking for £1,750! I must be honest here and admit that I was looking for one in that roulette green colour a while back but couldn't find one that was clean, low miles and a reasonable price. Rare as hen's teeth.
