What's Boiling Your Pi$$ Today?

I'm pissed off today about lack of interest in my Thaiumph Bonneville! Not a single enquiry about her in the last couple of weeks! To be fair hardly anything is moving on the internet as far as I can see so the market is a bit flatline! Could do with either a forecast of an end to the Lockdown or some warming up of the weather to get the market moving.

Market is usually a bit flat at this time of year without any other influences. If I was a buyer I'd be looking to prey on the vulnerable and desperate and steal something at bottom dollar.
It'd be def a good time to pick up the Daytona or similar if you've the leeway to wait to sell the Thaiumph later

I've no space in the shed for another bike so it has to be one out, one in unfortunately. I'm not in any hurry really just bored and got an itch to hunt for something new to play with.
I really should put this in the Daytona thread that you started but can't be arsed to look for it but (and answer there so I can pick it up or continue the derail) why a Daytona? I nearly grabbed one before getting the Trip, I can def see the appeal. I think they're a good 'bang for buck' lump of fast metal. And your build makes fine tuned lightweight suspension somewhat moot. I'll just say I've yet to get my Trip handling as well as my '95 fireblade.

Oh, when did that bald cunt become a moderator? :D

Am I out of the mailing list now?

[edit] For those that haven't noticed, Mr Public Enemy now has stripes!
Fair play, good choice etc.
But where is the usual largesse bestowed upon the plebs to make it acceptable?
Where are my free beers?

As soon as we're all allowed out to play again, I'll be happy to buy you (A) beer!

Couldn't be bothered finding the thread myself @chas so I'll just answer here. I do rather like the looks of the Daytona, there is something in it's lines that doesn't need any fancy graphics it's just squat and menacing and has to be one of the few bike's that I think looks good in yellow although the Blue is rather fetching. I wouldn't mind an early Fireblade myself to be honest as, although I am not generally a Honda fan and tend to prefer Suzuki when it comes to Oriental Iron the original Blade is undeniably a Super Bike and a Superbike. Knew a few folks who rode them back in the nineties and they were nuts without feeling nuts in the saddle. For my money the Urban Street Tiger was the best finish and I was horrified when my mate traded his in for the new model of the time which was the red and white one with the dayglo yellow and blue. I think it was the 1996 model.

My brother bought himself one of those little VFR400R jobbies when he followed all his boy racer mates out of the cars and onto two wheels and his buddy was behind him on his Fireblade. The brother balked at zipping out onto a roundabout but his pal behind him didn't realise he had decided not to go and dropped the clutch going straight into my brothers rear end from just a few feet away. Brother and VFR were launched into the air and Fireblade just came to a stop with no damage. Very stable indeed.

The thought police will be after you for demeaning the follicly challenged. (Just because you have a superabundance). The rest is probably admissible as ‘fair comment’.

I'll have you lot know that I am not a bald cnut. I choose to shave my noggin so the world can admire my superbly shaped dome. If I didn't, it would be covered in thick, luxuriant, jet black locks. Well a couple of pathetic tufts, closely resembling an egg in a nest. I wasn't sure about the combover so gave up on it.
