My feckin holiday has been cancelled again
Important information regarding your booking at Golden Heights (7520) – please request a refund or change of date arriving within the same property up until 31st December 2021.
On 29 March new legislation came into force in England that permits holidays in fully self-contained accommodation for a single household (and support bubble/ linked household) between 12th April 2021 and 16th May 2021. However, accommodation with any indoor communal areas is not permitted to open in this period. Indoor communal areas include internal shared hallways, stairways, lobbies, corridors, lifts and doorways.
In response to this we contacted all of our property owners to confirm if their property has any of the above features. The owner of the property for your booking has confirmed this, and therefore we are required to facilitate a refund or change of date. Holiday travel is not legally permitted during this period. If we do not hear from you by Wednesday 7th April, we will have to cancel your booking and will provide a full refund.
Please be aware, we are working hard to process refunds as quickly as possible, however due to the volume of affected bookings this may take up to 45 days from the date you submit your request.
We know this will be disappointing and we have engaged with government, prior to the legislation being passed, to seek amendment and clarification. However, we are now required by law to respond the legislation that has been passed.
Please respond to this email with your request as we require this in writing. Due to the Easter Bank Holiday please allow 10 working days to receive acknowledgement of your request.
