Sun is out and the sky is blue here, just got back in from a trip out
Been drizzling all day here, sun's just come out in the last 5 minutes.So much for the only dry day in weeks!

Ordered Coolant and Radiator Flush and bought DI water all ready to flush and re-fill my bikes radiators. Coolant arrived on Tuesday, DI water arrived on Wednesday with my ASDA delivery but the radiator flush was sent via MyHermes on Monday which means it probably won't arrive until around this coming Wednesday as they are the slowest buggers on the planet for delivering here. Hermes take it to Johnston (West of Glasgow) and dump stuff at their contractors depot (A&M Couriers of Campbelltown) who collect from that warehouse once a week (on Wednesdays) and then take it past the end of my road and drive it all the way down to Campbelltown about 100 miles away on the other side of me from Johnstone where it then sits until it is sorted onto a van which brings it all the way back up from Campbelltown. Feckin' Crazy!

You are absolutely correct there @Sarky B’stard There used to be a daily steamer service which went between Glasgow and this area. On the southern side of Loch Goil they didn't even get a road connecting them to the rest of the country until the 1940's and they got everything by steamer service from Glasgow. Remarkable how, at one time, boats were built and used for much of our transport needs in Scotland and now, under the current regime we can't even build a couple of new ferries properly.

If it’s any consolation (it won’t be!) our morons are no better. I still haven’t had a reply to a pension letter I wrote in late Nov. They can tell me on the phone they’ve got it but that’s where you run out of intelligent life forms.
