I know that road well @Sarky B’stard when my stepson was at Butterstone New School north of Dunkeld I would drive him over every Monday and back every Friday and we alternated between going through Lochearnhead, Comrie, Crieff, Amulree to Inver then to Dunkeld and Killin, Loch Tay, Kenmore, Aberfeldy etc. to Dunkeld. Both routes are a great drive through great country although they demand respect and have more than their fair share of constant 35mph Grannies and Gramps clogging their arteries at times.

An average sized ice cube in a pub, melted into a standard single pub measure of spirit is way too much dilution IMHO.
But the same sized ice cube in 3 or 4 standard pub measures is spot on for me.

Having said that, there are no rules around spirit drinking. Everyone should drink their favourite mixed with whatever they like

I can remember asking my boss if he wanted anything in his whiskey, ice perhaps.
His answer always was "Another whisky"

Becoming a grandfather again. After a week and more overdue they decided the little bugger wasn’t little enough. One C section later and a 10+ pound porker emerged late a.m. with big head and broad shoulders and his grandfather’s Robert Redford features…. The other grandfather. Parents on Cloud 9. Granny clucking.

Not too unhappy masel’. Nothing quite so life reaffirming as a baby.

I seem to remember something in the Construction & Use Regulations about having ‘dangerous parts’….

From the SVA/IVA rule book associated with kit car builds, I know it as "dangerous projections" Sarky.
But Duck has been told it's fine by an MOT tester.
Therefore, I suggest that he visits that same MOT tester when it's due.

It started out with bent wings & when cars had steel bumpers that could be dinked in the middle & force the ends out. But if his local MOT guy is fine with signing it off, happy days
