That reminds me of a movie, I watched lately: A gal ended up with an axe between her eyes and the last thing she said was:Oooh...if you got any of them you don't want can I have em...

Slowly step away from the whisky & keep your hands where we can see themThat reminds me of a movie, I watched lately: A gal ended up with an axe between her eyes and the last thing she said was:
„Oh, haven’t listened to Pink Floyd for quite a while…“
(Big nothing)
Ummagumma fans are few and far between. Shame we've lost one. That reminds me of a movie, I watched lately: A gal ended up with an axe between her eyes and the last thing she said was:

I assume you are now balls deep in the future Mrs Duck?I've been out amongst the Manchester massive..At first no one understood my vocabulary..However it turned out I'm great and these guy's including the confused football lot are actually alright
I assume you are now balls deep in the future Mrs Duck?
But I'd like to personally thank you for not killing anyone in Gunchester.
They are local people in a local place & they are happy as a result.
You only need to look at BB3 to see the results of Manc inbreeding

Well done that man,I'm off seaside for some fish and chips to restore my energy
How about it then Gents?Something else that occurred to me regarding our fairly plush accommodation (compared to a bunkhouse)
At only £17.50 per person per night. It was not only cheaper than a night in a bunkhouse. We had a restaurant/bar onsite & a bathroom between two. Not 3 bathrooms between 30 of us.
The total cost was probably slightly more due to not doing our own cooking or supplying our own booze, but not massively so.
Plus whilst there are only a few of us. If we used the same style of accommodation again for a forum meet up. There'd be none of the current issues with trying to fill a 30 bed bunkhouse
Edit...
How about we try to sort out another meet up for early/mid September? The venue can be based on a central location after a show of hands from those that are interested.
The Marston's pub/hotel we stayed in on Tuesday is part of a large (ish) chain. The accommodation was perfectly acceptable (especially for the price) & the restaurant prices were very reasonable. Those large plates of grub you saw came from a carvery. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, the waitress had to fill our plates for us. I'm sure we could do much better when filling them ourselves
How about it then Gents?
Before we get locked down again!
Woke up early & fancied a fry up at Morrisons.
Then I remembered my Bushmills sesh last night & did the sums of alcohol consumption V's time elapsed
I've decided that no driving yet is a prudent plan.
And have settled on the idea of a steak & eggs breakfast courtesy of Tesco.
I might even get cake for pudding as my reward for being a responsible citizen
