Just read about someone in Norwich being reported for hate crime after flying a confederate flag in their garden.
A 34 year old teacher,Emily Robison felt the need to teach people,that this flag stood for the support of slavery,
whilst the owner innocently flew it to commemorate the death of Stonewall Jackson.
The police have recorded it as a hate crime.
I’m guessing that the vast majority of people who noticed this flag would not have batted an eyelid,never mind be outraged.

The flag they are talking about was just one of many different Confederate battle flags. It was never a racist symbol until it was flown at a KKK rally in the 1950s. These retards aren't interested in history unless they can twist it to support their warped narratives. It is called 'confirmation bias', where people look at evidence subjectively in a way to support their opinions, rather than looking at evidence objectively based on facts.

Of course the truth of what the American Civil War was about has been twisted ever since the day that John Brown was executed. The government in Washington didn't give a damn about slavery. What they did care about was maintaining their power over the the States and they feared that secession might spread and they would lose all their power. Being against slavery sounded much better than stopping individual states from gaining their freedom. After all, Freedom from controlling 'foreign' government was, supposedly, what America was all about.

I saw a video about this, which also explains the nursing home that displayed the flag did so to commemorate Gen Stonewall Jackson's death. They display different flags throughout the year with a poster explaining why they are showing a particular flag.
