Quick check on the GS and it's all ready to head down to Ldn this evening.
Staying the night with a mate, then dropping the bike off for its MOT and annual service with me old mechanic, who I've used for years.
While he's doing that, I will visit Ol' Ma Strange., then head back here tomorrow evening.
TBH, the GS is running so sweetly, he could just rub it with a dirty rag and tell me he's worked on it all day and I probably wouldn't notice!

Ah, yes. You've all jogged my memory. Duck manfully refused to eat them as they were a bit "pink and gay". And besides, he was a bit full up as he'd just eaten several pounds of raw steak and a couple of zombie hearts.

Having rode the GS down to a mate's place in Ldn yesterday evening, a trip which involved about as much standing water as I feel confident riding through, rode it back today fully serviced and with another year's MOT
And a M25 sign flashed up warning of long M1 delays just before the A1 turn-off, so I went that route, which finishes with a nice cross country bit instead of being motorway all the way - so a bit longer than planned, and I'm a bit more knackered too, but I'm happy as a pleasanter ride

No, out of the village on the Surrenden Estate toward Ashford.
Tangentially I keep meaning to mooch down the lane opposite The Standard to see if Dave Camier is still around
