Annie saw the light of day for the first time in 2 months. Chain lubed, tyre pressures checked, oil checked, and a few gentle laps round the neighborhood desperately searching for essentials. Oh, happy day!

Took Annie on a trip into the Derbyshire Dales on an essential trip to the farm shop to pick up some nice meat for the weekend. 40 mile round trip, and would you believe it, bumped into my mate Nick from round the corner going to exactly the same place. What's the odds?!

Indeed it does but you should have been pulled over and reprimanded for shopping at halfordsI found another excuse to have the Monster out yesterday, which was to pick up some tins of Bike Protect from Halfords... Bike Protect counts as an essential item, right?

Well bright blue skies proved too much temptation but nothing challenges me like a Road Closed sign.
Whatever, it wasn’t. Edinburgh’s reservoirs are over brimming and the snow is left in the high corries and sheltered Northern slopes. I ended up doing my Moffat loop but the sun was deceptive. It’s still February
