Feckin bastard things....You never feel them land or bite, but a lot are slow on moving so its very satisfying when you can kill the feckers,When I used to do tree surgery It was great fun if you were working in an area that had them...we had an agreement that if you saw one land on someone you had to splat it,So I used to whack my son around the back of his neck every ten minutes even when they were not there..

Brain dead thugs tore down two statues (criminal damage), endangering the lives of others (I'd have love to have seen a couple of them squashed by Queen Victoria) and the police had to use a stun gun to enforce an arrest (resisting arrest)... but of course it was largely peaceful . And the fucking BBC love it...absolute scum!!

As you might expect the reporting lacks all context. This was (with the usual s**t stirrers thrown in) overwhelmingly about over 1,000 First Nation kids’ unmarked graves being found in three residential schools to which they were forcibly taken in less enlightened times.
I wouldn’t begin to defend the original policy but some of these graves are 150+ yrs old and the deaths were broadly known about from various real epidemics. It’s now more about First Nation land rights and historical appropriation and other grievances. Many are probably justified.
You don’t need to go to Canada though. The same people were running horror houses in Ireland. The Vatican has yet to comment. Doubtless they will say it was ‘colonial’.
