My mistake, I got the wrong 'hampton'. The article I read said that the park where the kids were shot is considered a 'warzone' locally and I bet you never see a pig, on foot or in buggy, around it.
AFAIK there has only been one shooting in recent years Marty?
It was an Eastern European woman upset with her cheating boyfriend. So she shot him with his own illegally held firearm. No great loss to society but the presence of such people is an unwelcome addition. To what was once a fairly sleepy market town.
However there has very recently been two fatal stabbings within a couple of weeks of eachother. Both involved black teenagers as the perpetrators & the victims. In both incidents the majority of those involved had foreign/unpronounceable names.
Again, not a welcome addition to the population of Northampton.

I might have agreed with you 5yrs ago Don. But around here the big problem is now Eastern Europeans.
Not all of them as the Polish seem to be hard working & interested in integrating.
But the Albanians, Romanians, Lithuanians etc are lawless!

Did you see that documentary a few years back about pickpockets in London, especially on the underground?
A senior Met officer stated that the vast majority were organised Romanian gangs.
That caused the usual hissy fit uproar from the lefties. But he stuck to his guns. Stating that the arrest figures spoke for themselves.
Eventually the lefties dropped it. Nobody was sacked or "cancelled". It was just quietly swept under the carpet.

Well, actually no it wasn't. I firmly believe that the reason the shitstorm blew itself out. Was simply because the senior officer making the wholly accurate statement, was a gentleman of colour!

How come these delivery people on electric cycles get away with no crash helmut/cycle helmut no insurance, mot or road tax. I followed a deliverroo rider down into town center past the main POLICE station the other day they were doing 48mph I of course slowed down to the 30mph speed limt (well I was in the car) while matey boy disappeared into a bustling town centre without slowing down. Don't know about where you all live it's only a matter of time before someone is killed or injured badly by one I live

A tragic accident, nearby, 2 nights ago, a Ford Focus was destroyed in a raging fire after a head on collision with an A7. In the Focus, 2 women aged 28 and 34, a boy aged 4, none survived the fire. The Audi passengers all walked away after a couple of minor scrapes were attended to. The road is still closed while police investigate.
The worst part, for me anyway, is that the MIL is still going, ploughing her way through £1500 per week......................

More details emerging. 2 more cars involved and all of the passengers and drivers arrested. 2 males early 30's, 2 teenage males. Looks like some lives have been terminated and others ruined, very sad. My youngest daughter knew the 2 dead girls.
Audi A7, young males & multiple arrests makes me think they were Eastern European. I'd wager the charges included no insurance, no licence & possibly drink/drug offenses.
Were the other two vehicles German cars of around 15yrs old? And expensive luxury models when they were new Paul?

Saw this on another forum and couldn't quite believe it, not watched the video as it would make my blood boil, which it already does on a regular basis with these bloody hot flushes from the cancer hormone treatment.
But It's just not acceptable, wouldn't want to be them if they ever need dog handler assistance.

Our police force is violently out of control, they deliberately antagonise to provoke a reaction so that they can then bully and brutalise people, they persecute people with the 'wrong' opinions, and now seemingly they resort to hideous killing of small animals.
