Added this to the family. And actually got a dry, sunny day when Mrs Public Enemy didn't have a to do list for me.
No idea yet how this bike will be on a longer run, but for a 3 hour blast around the Peaks and Dales it is superb.
Gotta clean it now though, as I rode through some fresh cow shit on the way home.

I realise the "transformer" looks may not be everyone's cup of tea but jeez, when you ride it you forget about all that.
It's a Yamaha MT09SP by the way.

Picked up the Triumph R/S yesterday and rode it back from Norfolk. A few adjustments to make it fit me better to levers and mirrors and a nice couple of hours on my regular roads this morning. I like it - riding position so much more forgiving for a chap of my age; didn’t really notice less power on the road, brakes better than expected, but am going to have to change grips - previous owner put aftermarket heated ones on and they’re a bit too chunky - won’t need them anyway. All good with new toy

I can't recall exactly but I think that the brakes are the same on both the Daytona and Sprint. There really is so little difference between the two machine apart from geometry and some more adjustability in the suspension.

Had a run round the Norfolk coast today, Just shy of 200 miles and ..................................
my arse and hips are fuckin killing me, It's no fun getting old .
Off up to Wrexham in 2 weeks for another Meteor shower (I didn't name it FFS) apparently I'm a Meteorite and when we have a meet up they call it a Meteor shower, They're a good bunch .... just a little strange .
Now looking for a pair of cycling gel pants for the trip and going to dig my sheepskin seat cover out.

Yep, I've heard that elsewhere and believe that's right.

New grips have arrived to replace the chunky heated ones, and the rear seat cowl off ebay - so a bit of tinkering to do once I get back from next week's travels.

A couple of hours on the GS today and filled her up as down to Ldn tomorrow, then a couple of days in Brighton before Ldn again then return up here Friday. Weather not ideal, but you take what you can!
