Today I received by post a genuine Triumph QD summer screen and kit from Total Triumph for £100 posted as opposed to £265 also a Mosfet regulator from RM Stators and a Motone regulator reposition bracket with12% discount also some fork oil so I can now change the oil and front springs [already have ], today I fitted the QD screen brackets and rails but not clipped the screen on until I change the springs and fork oil. had a little binble out "Nice"

I got out for my first ride on the Supersport today, only about 25 miles and trying to keep it to a max of 5500 revs but loads of fun all the same . She sounds brilliant even with stock silencers, the quick shifter and auto blipper will take some getting used to, I kept going for the clutch or shutting off the throttle

I'd imagine that 5500rpm still equates to a speed above the national speed limit?

Glad you got out for a spin mate. After the rain forecast for this weekend. That should wash the salt off the roads. Then you'll be good to go for spring & summer

Brother fitted the Hitchcocks "performance" camshaft in my 350 Meteor today, took it steady going home but still a noticeable improvement on hills, No changing down to keep the 20hp pumping , just glided up em.

"Nice Mod", carefull mind any more mod's and you will need a second front brake fitted

It's on the dyno again next week Don ... I hope it can cope with the power , He had a Turbo Busa on it the other week, That made it shake a bit

Fitted a couple of wheel chocks in the garage, which allows me to have all the bikes parked vertical, and gives me more room so I don't have to squeeze past them. I wish I had done it ages ago.

Had mine on brothers dyno 22.62bhp, Might not seem a lot but it's a 25% increase ..... 25.3bhp at crank and only 1.5 hp down on brothers 500 classic (slightly tweeked)

Thanks. I should be getting the Akropovic silencers for it soon. A friend of a friend is selling a set in excellent condition that have only done about 400 miles.

I don't have a middle tank rubber, I have a cushion, I am like a windbreak the turbulence behind me would be great for others to slipstream like traveling behind an artic

Time to get the Bonneville out. Some of the older/slower riders locally are heading into Welsh Wales tomorrow and we may well join them. The 900 doesn't roll so nicely at lower speeds.

I took the Guzzi out today for its first ride on the new wheels, but those Pirelli Sport Demon tyres are truly awful. I was having front and rear wheel slides, the front was particularly bad, quite unnerving. I had read that these tyres, fitted as standard from the factory, were not good but I didn't expect them to be as bad as they are I only did a few miles and then turned around and headed home.

Then I took the Supersport out and had a fantastic ride, I'm getting more familiar with how she handles, and riding on some great twisty and sweeping roads I had a real blast completing about 80 miles. The weather forecast was for a good dry day, but about 10 miles from home the rain came down which meant I had to wash and polish the bike.



After being made all clean and shiny again

maybe they will get a bit better with some miles on them @Scrappy and the oils in the compounds have dried out....."Pirelli" Italian mate slippery as feck they are too much olive oil
